Maker’s Mark RC6 is a limited edition bourbon produced by Maker’s Mark. It starts as standard Maker’s Mark bourbon which is then finished for an unknown time period in Maker’s Mark barrels with oak staves placed inside them. This bourbon has a bronze hue to it. The smell is somewhat close to a Maker’s Mark 46 Cask Strength. It starts with strong oak and alcohol whiff, with nutty and sugary notes making an appearance. The taste is a balance of sweet yet dry, with sugar, oak, and spices making their presence known. A strong and spicy finish with punchy oak and dried spice flavors end things off on a robust note.
