BECK SEMPER PINOT NOIR
2016 Semper Pinot Noir hails from the acclaimed Fort Ross Vineyard which sit at 1500 feet above sea level. The Pinot Noir blocks specifically lie at 1500 feet, just above the fog line. The cool temperatures help retain the grapes’ natural acidity, and thanks to the vineyard’s climate and well-drained soil, the fruit is forward, bright and enticing
Tuck Beckstoffer?s love of Pinot noir and Chardonnay led to the creation of the Semper Brand. These wines are produced using only grapes from the Sonoma region of California because, although he’s a Napa Valley native, Tuck firmly believes that his neighbors to the west offer the finest Pinot noir and Chardonnay conditions grapes grown in the United States, and Semper aims to prove it. Dedicated to small production of vineyard designated wines, the quality and character of the fruit in the bottle speaks for itself.
